Job Summary:
As a Server at Orso, you will be the face of the guest experience. From welcoming
diners to offering thoughtful menu guidance and ensuring timely, accurate service, your
role is essential in creating a memorable evening.
Duties:
• Take accurate food and drink orders using Aloha POS
• Deliver food and beverages with confidence, accuracy, and enthusiasm
• Provide knowledgeable menu and wine recommendations
• Check in with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction
• Collaborate with kitchen and support staff for seamless service
• Process payments and handle cash/credit card transactions
• Maintain clean and organized service stations and dining areas
• Uphold Orso’s standards of hospitality, presentation, and sincerity
Experience:
– Prior serving experience in a high-volume or upscale restaurant preferred
– Strong food and wine knowledge, or a willingness to learn
– Ability to multitask, stay composed under pressure, and communicate clearly
– Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar systems is a plus
– Must be guest-focused, detail-oriented, and team-driven
– Must have or be willing to obtain a valid Alaska TAP card for alcohol service

Duties:
– Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
– Follow recipes and menu guidelines to prepare meals
– Cook food on various kitchen equipment, such as stovetops, ovens, grills, and fryers
– Monitor food cooking times and temperatures to ensure proper cooking
– Plate and present dishes in an appealing manner
– Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
– Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
– Assist with menu planning and recipe development
– Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Experience:
– Previous experience in the food industry as a Line Cook/Prep Cook or similar role
– Knowledge of menu planning and food preparation techniques
– Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
– Strong culinary skills, including knife handling and cooking techniques

Job Summary:
We are seeking a hardworking and attentive Busser to join our team at Orso. Responsibilities include clearing and resetting tables, assisting servers, and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment. This is a fast-paced position that requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to excellent guest service.
Duties:
– Clear dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils from dining areas
– Wipe and reset tables
– Assist servers and bartenders with table maintenance and food running
– Assist bartenders with bar dishes
– Maintain cleanliness of floors, carpets, and dining room areas
– Keep bus stations stocked with ice, glassware, silverware, and other supplies
– Complete opening and closing duties, including cleaning and restocking
– Assist with seating guests when needed
– Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
– Maintain a clean, pressed, and professional uniform
Experience:
– Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role preferred, but not required
– Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
– Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs, walk up stairs and ramps, and move safely through crowded areas
– Comfortable working around food, beverages (including alcohol), and cleaning supplies
